Empower separates privacy-sensitive choices so users can decide what, if anything, leaves the device.
Current privacy model
- Local storage is the default for records, summaries, and visit-prep artifacts.
- Optional analytics should remain off by default and separately controllable in-app.
- Optional cloud research should remain independently controllable and not bundled into analytics consent.
What to expect from controls
The app should provide a dedicated privacy/data area where users can review analytics preferences, cloud-feature preferences, and other launch-scope privacy controls as they become available.
