Privacy Policy
Empower Care is designed as a privacy-first planning and support companion for breast care journeys. The app is intended to keep sensitive records, notes, and derived artifacts on device by default.
What the app does by default
By default, Empower keeps app data on your device. Optional analytics and optional cloud research features are separate from one another and should remain off unless you explicitly enable them.
Information we intend to keep local
- Imported medical records and files
- Extracted text, summaries, and doctor-packet artifacts
- Questions, notes, and other patient-generated content
- Visit-preparation context and local workflow state
Optional analytics
If optional analytics are enabled in the future, they are intended to be minimal and anonymous. The app should not transmit transcript text, doctor names, hospital names, file names, diagnosis detail, or other PHI-like payloads as analytics events.
Optional cloud features
Optional cloud-based research or similar network features, if enabled, are separate from analytics consent and should be disclosed clearly in-app. Local-first behavior remains the baseline design principle.
